Blanco oversaw the design, manufacture, and transport of the new Barney Charles and Larry Gavenor Airport Terminal for Mornington Island Council. The project required exceptional planning, logistics, and cultural sensitivity, with all materials transported via limited sea access and installed in challenging environmental conditions. The new facility provides the island community with a safe, modern, and functional terminal that improves accessibility and regional infrastructure while respecting the island’s cultural and environmental heritage.
